Contest Rules:
Rules for the Five Minute Pickled Jalapeno Eating Contest of Texas:
$25.00 entry fee must be paid
Throwing up is an automatic disqualification
Stems are counted at the end of the five minutes to determine the amount of jalapeno's eaten
(if excessive meat is left on the jalapeno stem, that stem is not included in the final count)
Contestants are allowed to drink only water during the contest
No gloves or glasses to be worn during the contest
**$500 forst place prize
