UK Junior selected as #1 seed for the Collegiate Nationals Eating Championship
Christian "Muscox" McCarthy who is the former National Strawberry Eating Champion and record holder for the Italian Su, has been selected as the #1 seed for the Collegiate Nationals Eating Championship to take place on Friday, April 19th 2008 in San Diego California. . "The Muscox" who comes from Lagrange Kentucky and majors in Kinesiology, spends his free time playing pick-up basketball or lifting weights at the Student Gym. Although the 23 year old McCarthy may not be known by many students, he is a highly regarded Competitive Eater who is currently ranked 10th in the Nation by the Association of Independent Competitive Eaters (AICE).
