World's Smallest Hamburger Team Eating Contest Rules
This event will be sanctioned by the Association of Independent Competitive Eaters.
- There will be two timed Rounds: A qualifying followed by a Championship Round
- Any Reversal of Fortune in the qualifying Round will result in Immediate Disqualification.For the entire team.
- If an Eater suffers from “urges contrary to swallowing” in the Championship Round they will lose the opportunity to compete for the Team Championship and the other team will be declared the National Nano Bite Burger Team Eating Champions.
- The order in which Teams will be timed will be determined by flipping a Ketchup Packet. The Team that wins the toss will chose the order in which they will go.
- The first Round will be the Qualifying Round where Each Team will receive 250 Nano Bite Burgers per Round. A total of 1,000 Nano Bite Burgers will be served to the Food Warriors during the 1st Round.
- The 2nd Round will be the Championship Round where the two fastest Teams will be given an additional 150 Nano Burgers.
- The two top Teams will have its first and second Round Time added to determine the total amount of time taken to consume 400 Burgers. The Team that consumes its Nano Burgers in the shortest time wins. The clock will not stop until eaters have swallowed and cleared their Mouth of Hamburger product.
- Each Team will be timed separately in the qualifying Round and the two final Teams will be timed concurrently during the Final Round to determine the Champion.
- Eaters must observe Picnic Style Rules, which means that the Burgers cannot be dunked in Water or purposely spilled on the Nano Burgers. Should an Eater be observed violating picnic Style Rules he/she will be deemed in performance of a "picnic profanity" and will be disqualified.
- In the event of a tie, a winner will be determined in a 100 burger "Eat-off." If needed Any subsequent ties will be resolved in the same manner until a winner is declared.
- Creative participation is strongly encouraged but good sportsmanship is required at all times
Decision(s) by appointed Judges is final. All contestants are required to check in 30 minutes prior to the contest.
