ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION

The Association of Independent Competitive Eaters is an affiliation of Independent Competitive Eaters and talented contributors who have organized for their mutual benefit.

Its core membership is composed mostly of professional competitive eaters.

The Association of Independent Competitive Eaters , known as AICE , seeks to create opportunities for it's individual Eaters to participate in competitive eating venues in order to promote events, products and charitable causes.

Our aim is to establish the use of Competitive Eaters as a viable marketing tool and to increase public awareness and acceptance of Competitive Eating as a sport and a form of entertainment. AICE seeks to establish mutually beneficial relationships with sponsors, promoters, families and friends

Likewise, we are concerned about safety and endorse and promote the discussion and establishment of Safety Standards and Practices for any and all events. Also, we are concerned with the establishment of rules and standards for competitions.  AICE is a huge advocate of "picnic styled rules."   These rules believe that the contest food should be eaten the way the food was prepared to be eaten/ no dipping, dunking, mushing or desecrating.

With the rising popularity of Competitive Eating over the last five years, there has also come an increase in opportunities for both the individual Eater and the business and nonprofit sectors to discover the promotional potential of a fun and exciting competitive eating event.
